Greetings Colleagues/Friends!
I’m thrilled to invite you to a Feedback Screening that features, (among others), the Duke Sex-Ed squad in scenes they created as part of my Performing Sexual Health course this past fall. The Duke scenes, along with scenes created by students at NCCU and UNC-CH, were shot by documentary director/editor/producer Matt Durning and edited for this screening.
The purpose of the screening is to get feedback as we work to put together a film and lesson plans to share with NC health educators free of charge. Our vision is that these experiential, arts-based teaching tools will be used to supplement existing sexual health curriculum in NC high schools.
So please come out on Saturday, April 22 at 10:30am to the Varsity Theater in Chapel Hill, and bring your friends! The event is free and open to the public.
Please RSVP at: ContactAMP.NC@gmail.com.
The flyer is attached to share widely, and here is the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1888345574711213/
I know the close of the semester is a crazy time, but I hope you can make it on the 22nd!
Thanks so much,
