Richard Vinesett to teach West African Drumming workshop

On Friday, September 5, 11:45AM-1:00PM, Richard Vinesett, Director of Music for African Dance within the Dance Program, will conduct a class on West African drumming in the Ark Dance Studio. 

This class will be in conjunction with Dance 375-Music for Dancers. Students will learn about the musical instruments used to perform this music, basic rhythms, how to hear a break, and more. No prior experience necessary.
