The following schedule is for Across the Threshold: Creativity, Being and Healing Symposium, Saturday, April 3rd, 2010, Duke University East Campus. All events are in the Ark Dance Studio unless noted otherwise.

 

7:30-8:30am Rise & Shine! Kundalini Yoga & Meditation with Keval Kaur Khalsa. The Ark or outside, weather permitting
  9-10:30am Transcultural Healing: Beyond the Threshold of Convention - Panel Discussion with Richenel “Muz” Ansano, Susan Gaylord, Ciane Fernandes, Moderater:  Larry Burk.  White Lecture Hall
  11am-12:30pm Create Your Own Healing Journey through the Arts, with Beverly Botsford, Barbara Lynn Freed, Louis Gervais, Viviane Kraus, Jon Seskevich, the artwork of Alyssa Hinton, and quilt exhibit by Heather Williams.

  2-3:30pm Dancing Images: Authentic Movement, Analysis and Composition  - With Ciane Fernandes
  3:45-5:15pm  Healing through Drumming -  With Richenel “Muz Ansano”, Vera Moura, and Ken Wilson. The Ark
  Dinner on your own
  7:30pm Evening performance** with Ciane Fernandes,  Natalie Marone & The Dance Cure, Poranguí  McGrew, Andrea E.  Woods, Hsiao-Mei Ku & Jennifer Chang with John Dixon and Louis Gervais. The Ark

 **INDIVIDUAL TICKETS TO THE EVENING PERFORMANCE

If you are interested in attending ONLY the evening performance, we WILL pre-sell a limited number of individual tickets to the evening performance at $10/ticket (no student rate, as students are able to register for the entire event for $5).  To purchase, please send a check made payable  to the Dance Program to:

Please include your e-mail so we may notify you that we received your check.  Pre-purchased tickets will be held at the door.  Any remaining available tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 7pm.
