Gaspard&Dancers
...movement that seems effortless even when it requires great strength, and control.

Gaspard&Dancers presents: A world premiere, an audience favorite, a celebration of young talent, packed into an extraordinary evening of contemporary dance!

Durham-based modern dance choreographer Gaspard Louis and his company Gaspard&Dancers will present a packed evening of dance September 25 and 26 at Duke University’s Reynolds Industries Theater—the company’s fifth annual concert at Duke. The evening-length program will feature Louis’ trilogy about the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, including the world premiere of the first work in the trilogy L’Esprit, which focuses on the idyllic, light-hearted life of the community before the disaster. The piece is set to the newly composed score by American Dance Festival (ADF) Director of Music Andy Hasenpflug.
