Katya Wesolowski led a workshop in Capoeira, the dynamic Afro-Brazilian fight/dance/game in the Ark on Nov. 24, 2013. Katya has been practicing capoeira for move than 20 years. As a member of Abadá-Capoeira, one of the largest capoeira organizations in the world, she has trained with top ranking Brazilian masters in Brazil, New York City and San Francisco. She also teaches in the Thompson Writing Program at Duke and is an instructor for the American Dance Festival.
