Establishing a Choreographic Practice

DANCE 801S

Building on 701S (Choreographic Praxis), this seminar encourages the creation of choreographic work. Students are encouraged to apply the knowledge gathered in 701S (Choreographic Praxis) to explore and establish their creative methodologies. The course offers time, space as well as feedback-mechanisms for students to choreograph disciplinary and inter-, or transdisciplinary work. Guest-lectures, visits, and workshops can form components. Students will be actively engaged in the design and implementation of the week-to-week progression of this course. Instructor: Klien, DeFrantz, Woods, Wilbur
