Thresholding: Dance MFA thesis event

February 2, -
Speaker(s): emily liptow
Grief - personal and collective- wants to move us. Towards the earth, towards each other, towards other ways of being. Where grief takes us is not always clear, but one thing is certain: we do not travel alone.
Dance MFA candidate emily liptow presents Thresholding, a performance and community ritual featuring an intergenerational ensemble working with movement and song, influenced by Threshold Singing, a practice of singing to those on the threshold of life and death. Please join to be a part of this immersive performance and gathering.

RSVP required through More Information button below. Hospitality provided.
Masks are optional, extras will be provided. The main entrance to The Ark has a large outdoor staircase. A wheelchair-accessible entrance is available on lower level.

This event is in partial fulfillment of requirements for the degree of MFA in Dance: Embodied Interdisciplinary Praxis in the Graduate School of Duke University.
