"Duke was the one school I found that could equally satisfy my academic and artistic needs.  My personal growth is a result of not only my academic studies, but also because of the close personal contact I had with both the unbelievably talented students and the outstanding and accomplished faculty in the Duke Dance Program.  Upon graduation I have moved to Los Angeles and I have gone on to pursue a professional career in commercial dance.  Not only am I well prepared to dance, but my Duke education will enable me to explore my interest in dance beyond the physical realm.  Because of my four years at Duke, my options are unlimited."
