Dierdre Shipman is the program coordinator for the Duke Dance program, supporting the faculty as well as the undergraduate and graduate students with their academic and performance goals. She has over twenty years of experience in arts administration and production of live performance at Duke and joined the Dance program in 2022. Outside of Duke, Dierdre has been active in the Triangle arts scene as an actor, designer, and producer with local theater groups at Manbites Dog Theater, the Carolina Theater, and Common Ground Theater.
