Auditions for Spring Dances Concert - 2026

The 2025 Duke Dance Program Spring Dances Concert, will take place April 17 and 18 in Von Der Heyden Theater, Rubenstein Arts Center. 

Auditions will be open in January for interested participants.

 
After each audition, students will receive a permission number to register for the course.

*Ballet Audition: Please bring a 30-second to 1-minute piece of your choreography or be prepared to improvise for the audition. Tania Suarez is interested in seeing your movement quality to contribute to the choreography.

Video Audition - Send a 2–5-minute video link and a brief description of the dance and the music to ae.woodsv@duke.edu by January 13. You can submit a work in progress or completed work of up to 6-7 minutes.
 
In-person Audition - Monday or Tuesday, January 12 or 13. Rubenstein Arts Center, 6-8 PM. Reserve an audition slot at ae.woodsv@duke.edu
